(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Manages student financial processes, student financial aid, instructor onboarding, and training. Ensures compliance with institutional policies and regulations. Supports service members with Veteran's Affairs (VA) education benefits. Coordinates with various stakeholders to enhance student and instructor satisfaction. Responsible for streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and providing comprehensive support to both students and instructors.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Develops and administers policies and procedures supporting governing rules and regulations (e.g., FERPA, records retention)
2. Manages and approves financial transactions including invoicing, deposits, refunds, and credit card chargebacks
3. Administers student financial aid from various sources, including WIOA, Military Benefits, student loans, payment plans, discounts, scholarships
4. Supports service members with VA education benefits by verifying, certifying schools, and tracking payments
5. Collaborates with various external stakeholders to ensure effective student support and payment management
6. Oversees onboarding processes for assigned instructors
7. Manages the training process and records management for minors
8. Provides support during Open House, and Career Events, assisting with administrative tasks
9. Creates, analyzes and provides reports for department leaders per established time frames or as needed
10. Reviews the Eligible Provider List (EPL) quarterly to ensure program information is current and updated as needed
11. Ensures proper maintenance of financial records, training documents, certifications, licensing, enrollment, etc.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

Required Experience
Two (2) years of related experience working in enrollment management, student support, or instructor training in a higher education setting

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience
Experience with student enrollment systems, such as Lumens or Banner
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle

Proposed Salary

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Able to work in partnership with staff, faculty, administrators, and industry leaders
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Familiarity with TouchNet Financials or similar financial services software
Experience assisting with A/R reporting, payment plan reporting, financial aid reporting, budgeting, and other financial reports
Knowledge of financial processes and guidelines
Financial process knowledge with the ability to deliver results

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
